Hello, thought I should write and tell you about a beautiful Versace polaroid that was taken by Andy Warhol – you can find it under the Warhol section of a site called www.eyestorm.com
It is a fantastic piece, I hope you enjoy it.

I really love Gianni Versace clothes I think that it expressed the way the he thought of things. Also if his clothes weren’t so expenssive then I probably would have all of his clothes. But I just sent a message to let you know how much I really enjoyed the wonderful fashions when Gianni Versace was alive.
Yours Truly,
Brent A. Brown II

Subject: He was (and still is ) my inspiration…
To whoever reads this, perhaps his sister, Donatella,
I am a graduate of New Yorks’ Fashion Institue of Technology. I would not have made the desion to persue my dreams as a designer if it were not for the immortal talents of Gianni Versace. I had decided to take on this industry when I saw one of his collections. I was 18 years of age and was in rapture by his designs, colors and glam-rock inspiration. I was totaly moved and instantly inspired to apply to fashion college! I was accepted in 1996. That year changed my life. In march of that year, I had particpated in showcasing my designs for the first time and had the honor of meeting the man that helped me accomplished my dreams, even now. He was promoting “Blonde” at Sachs Fifth Avenue and agreed to a meet and greet with his admirable designer fans. I, of course, was one of them. As the time grew short of my turn to meet him, my palms started to sweat, I became hot and suffered an anxiety attack! My friend had to hold me up straight and fan me with her W magazine! I began to cry as I approached Mr. Versace. Above my tears and red face, I began to tell him how excited I was to have met him, and that because of him I am on my way to becoming a great designer. I’ll never forget the way he held my hand and told me “You will be great – don’t give up – good luck.” I know that he could have said those same words to anyone, but for me those words were meant. The following summer took him away. I was devistated. Everyone who knew me called as if I had lost a family member. But he lives on through me and my creative mind. I have sinse graduated with Versace as my signature inspiration. When people ask to describe my designs, they mention, Versace – chic! I had always dreamed of working with him some day. Now I dream to work within his legendary company. To whomever reads this; please respond via internet or phone or mail; Tanita S. Holloway 1098 Park Place Brooklyn NY 11213 718-774-6232 It would make me so happy and proud to get a response from those who still keep his dream alive.
Thank You
