Visitors to Milan will probably want to concentrate on the traditional shopping area, the so-called "Golden Quadrangle". This list is organized by areas and streets, with some off-the-beaten-track stores listed at the end. The brand name stores are worth checking out because not all styles in clothes or shoes are exported to other countries. My friend Suzy Kalter's Moscow theory of shopping - "If you love it, buy it, cause you may never pass this way again" applies here, and don't feel terrible if you find it later at a better price.
