Nata a Roma il 7 febbraio 1958. Dal 1978 al 1982 studia all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma con Toti Scialoja, nel 1990 ha lavorato allo Studiohouse Freiraum di Hannover. Dal 1989 è professore associato all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. Vive e lavora a Roma.
