Alessandro Bazan

Alessandro Bazan was born in Palermo in 1967. In 1987 he graduates in the Artistic Accademy in Urbino, and decides at once for painting, starting to get known among pubblic and gallerists. Getting away by his first academical steps, he choses the style of the comics, which was perfect to get a quick and young expression. His "vulgar" speach must reach everybody's comprehension-level and arise fantasy. The thoughtful reaction may come later.

	Love and Fire (detail) Many different faces of the same town, joined in a single horizon over which eyes run with no rest. Different times of the same day scan the rhythm of the picture. As in comics, the "plot" goes over exciting immediate sensations with no thougthful pauses. Andreana Saint Amour

But it isn't necessary to realize the geographical identity, your eyes must only catch the multiple faces of an image representative of different cultural realties reduced to a single place and time as in a tv-scanning.
